Florida-- Trees, lakes, trails, wildlife- they're all things that come to mind when thinking about Florida's parks. Techonology, smartphones and applications, howeverm are probably the last things to come to mind- until now!

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Park Services department has announced the launch of their new, free mobile application, which will serve as an interactive guide for users on the go at any of Florida's 171 parks, trails and historic sites. 

Sebring, FL-- The grand opening of a new gallery overlooking lake Jackson takes place tomorrow from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Kenilworth Lodge.

According to Destination Downtown Sebring, the event will include a book signing of new releases by two local authors:

• Willenbron and the Gralumpy by Cynthia Schumacher
• A Christmas Moon, by Barbara A.Beswick. and Published by Mirror Publishing Co.

Plus, there will be wine, refreshments and appetizers- all FREE and open to the public!

Avon Park, Florida-- The Avon Park Library invites you to watch a free movie today at 2 p.m.!
