Sebring, Florida -- During a meeting Tuesday, April 3, Highlands County commissioners unanimously voted to reduce the number of meetings each month from four to three.
Newssun.com reports it was a lengthy discussion that began with Commissioner Ron Handley commenting on how out of all of the 67 counties in the state, Highlands is the only one that meets every week each month.
Discussion then turned to logistics of how the meetings would be constructed and the length and time of future meetings.
