Bruce Springsteen Tribute to rock SFCC | Entertainment

Avon Park, Florida -- Rock fans can enjoy their favorite Bruce Springsteen hits when Bruce in the USA performed by Matt Ryan and American Dream takes the stage on Saturday, June 23, 7:30 p.m., in the SFCC Theatre for the Performing Arts, Highlands Campus.

Matt Ryan, from the World Famous “Legends In Concert” cast, began playing the Springsteen character in 2000 in the Legends “full scale” Las Vegas show. The great success with “Legends” evolved his character into theBruce In The USA show.

The Bruce In The USA band consists of seasoned, world-class professional musicians from such acts as Queen/Paul Rogers, Meatloaf, Blue Oyster Cult, Hall and Oats, Joe Cocker, The Ojays, Aretha Franklin, David Cassidy, The Temptations, and Slash.

Ryan’s jaw-dropping resemblance to “The Boss” and the E Street Band’s amazing portrayal is as close as one can get to the real thing in concert. Bruce In The USA takes this genre of performance art to a whole new level, making it the world’s number one tribute to the E. St. Band’s legacy.

Enjoy such hits as “Born In The USA,” “Dancing in the Dark,” “Glory Days,” “Streets of Philadelphia,” “Secret Garden,” “My Hometown,” “Born to Run,” and many more.

This special presentation is a combined project of all seven Rotary Clubs of Highlands County to provide funds for the building of a Habitat for Humanity home.  The major sponsor for this performance is Bill and Lisa Jarrett.

Tickets range from $20 to $30. Purchase tickets online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Tickets may also be purchased by calling the SFCC Box Office at 863-784-7178 or by visiting the SFCC Box Office located in the front of the SFCC Theatre for the Performing Arts, 600 West College Drive, Avon Park, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The box office will be closed the day before the performance, Friday, June 22 due to summer scheduling.
